What is the Car Body Analyzer?
The Car Body Analyzer is an inspection service that evaluates the exterior of cars, trucks, vans, SUV's, or any type of automotive vehicle. We can identify areas of the car that have had repair work done so you can get a better idea of the quality and condition of the car prior to buying or selling it.

Who needs the Car Body Analyzer?
Anyone about to buy or sell a car. For buyers we can help to identify any hidden damages that could impact the value or life expectancy of the vehicle. For sellers we can provide an independent report that attests to the condition of the exterior. This will help you sell it faster, and for a higher price.

How are the vehicles inspected?
We use several techniques when performing our inspection services. This typically involves a combination of sophisticated instruments to evaluate the thickness of the paint on the vehicle and other parameters. But perhaps our most important tool is our eyesight. We've been trained in how to spot subtle differences in paint color, or a slight alteration of the lines of the panels that could indicate that work has been done to that area of the car. Once we spot potential problem areas, we move in for a closer look to identify what type of work has been performed.

Are there any types of automobiles you don't service?
Not really, although some of our tools don't perform as well on cars with body parts made from molded plastics or fiberglass.

How much does an inspection cost?
Our Basic Inspection service starts at $75, and our Video Inspections start at just $100. Depending on the location of the vehicle, a travel surcharge may apply. The travel surcharge is based on the distance from Enfield, CT, as measured by Mapquest.

What do I receive if I use your service?
All customers will receive a written report showing the areas of the vehicle that have been inspected, and any defects or anomalies that were found. Customers who have chosen the Video Inspection option also receive a DVD containing the video (with audio commentary).

What kind of issues will your inspection uncover?
By comparing paint thickness measurements to factory specs, we'll be able to identify any areas of the vehicle where the exterior has been repainted. By evaluating the size of the affected area, we can usually distinguish between small touch-ups, minor dent repairs, and major collision damage.

What states/towns do you service?
We'll go just about anywhere to perform our services, and our travel surcharge will vary accordingly. But we're based in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, and our local operating area includes most of Connecticut and western Massachusetts.
